Works | Spirit Spoons

My design for this collection of musical spoons was inspired by the eight notes in a notated musical bar. Varying sounds are made by rattling the collar beads on each piece. When suspended each spoon gently sways in the breeze and can connect with another to give a sound. The small spoon with one bead is 11cms long. There is a sister set off Jazz Spoons not yet realised.
